Which phones work?

How long does it take?
Usually 1–3 minutes. Very busy chats can take a little longer.
Just updated your iPhone?
After an update, your iPhone takes a while to get your older messages ready again, so your recap may look short. Leave your phone charging on Wi‑Fi overnight, then try again. A quick check: if searching Messages finds an old text, you're ready.
